Hi! I’m Dr Alison Grimston, and I have set up this website to help you to find answers to some of your questions.

I am now a GP, but I grew up on a farm. I always had an affinity for animals, loved spending time with the calves at home, and over the years I have been very close to both domestic pets and wild animals.

For some reason I ended up at medical school rather than veterinary school. This was probably no bad thing as I broke my back just before I started university. This meant that I would probably have been unable to complete veterinary college, with its more physically demanding course, and also that I began at an early age to experience the power of complementary therapies.

Like most medical students, I rapidly had to learn not to rely on my intuition, as evidence based medicine was (and is) king.

However,a few years ago, I discovered just how powerful complementary therapies can be. When I had to take some time off work for stress as a busy family doctor, I rediscovered how amazing complementary therapies can be. They helped me to rebalance my life and recover.

Then I discovered that animals also benefit from these amazing, gentle treatments, and that even I could help them with energy healing. Animals in pain, with recurrent infections, with cancer, and with psychological trauma can all benefit from complementary therapies.

Let me share what I have learned with you. Sign up for my free Ezine here, and I will help you to help your pet.

There are three levels of membership to this website.

Basic membership is free, and includes access to our links pages, forums, my blog, and many of our articles. Our exciting new series of monthly expert teleseminars and meditations will also be available to you.

Pet Owner membership will give you access to some of my expert articles on animal health problems and treatments, as well as reduced rate access to the monthly teleclasses. You will also have access to the members resources.

Access to the monthly teleclasses will be at a reduced rate, and there will be some extra teleclasses aimed specifically at therapists. You will receive help with your continuing professional development and have the opportunity to publicise your work through your member profile. You will also be able to answer some of the questions that people put on the forums, demonstrating your areas of knowledge.
