Hi!

I just LOVE the internet, don't you?

I've been busy finding a creative side I never knew I had...

Here are some of my websites:

Alison Grimston www.alisongrimston.com

This one is the first one I created. A bit out of date, and insufficient contact details, but we will be updating it in the next 6 months...An overview of my work as a doctor and healer:

Vane Cottag

I just love the Sussex countryside where I live. One of my first internet projects that I set up while learning about the internet was this lovely site advertising our self catering holiday cottage in Sussex. The cottage is in our garden - I counted 120 trees last week!

The website tells you all about the cottage, with photographs, as well as about the main house (which is part of an old brewery complex, so loads of history).  The Vane Cottage Ezine tells you about local days out & walks - click & subscribe now!

Holistic Doctor on Line www.holisticdoctor.typepad.com www.holisticdoctoronline.com

This is my blog and blog site.  As an NHS GP I am forever frustrated by the lack of time to answer peoples' questions.  While we are privileged to be able to offer so many people help, the lack of time to do all this is a limiting factor. Did you know that an NHS GP (full time equivalent) has between 1700 and 3000 patients? Complementary therapists take note! It is a  very different world out there in the NHS, and amazing what we achieve.

The Internet is a useful resource, and most of my patients will leave my surgery clutching an internet-sourced patient leaflet to help them to understand their problem.

However, there is so much more information that I would like to give them, about the power of complementary therapies and self-healing in  sorting out their illnesses and life problems.  So I started this blog and site to set up sources of such information.

I write in the blog regularly, and have had many people checking it out over the last year.  I even blogged about my one-woman trip around South Eastern Australia, when I drove a campervan around Oz with my 2 kids for 6000 km in 3.5 weeks!

It is packed with info on managing leg cramps and insomnia holistically, and I will add to it gradually over time - but my main focus is the site you are sitting on, so that is where most of my time goes for now...

And finally the website for my own NHS general practice! We have a fantastic, forward-thinking senior partner, Dr Pearce, who like me loves tinkering with computers, and it is down to him that we were one of the first GP practices with our own site (www.seaforthfarm.org.uk)
